More roses than ever appeared on our climbing rose this year — yay! Planted along the fence just to the right of the Concord Grapes, the richly colored, wavy petals add pretty splashes of color to the fence path. Because the nearby River Birches grew taller and the woodlands beyond the fence grew lusher, this rose sees more shade than it once did. Apparently, it likes the new conditions — yay again!
