At just about three inches deep and as wide as a dinner plate, this shallow flowerpot needs a sweet little annual; but because the pot spends its days sitting on the black firepit cover, the sweet little annual needs to be tough. It must be able to withstand some heat — not from a fire, of course, but from full on, baking sunlight attracted to all that black; and in only three inches of soil that dries out quickly, its roots must not mind feeling frequently parched. This sweet little tough annual loves these requirements, and doesn't God just fulfill every need beautifully?
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
