Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed watching dozens of these ever so slightly blue damselflies visit the tall lakeside grasses last night; and luckily, the dark, threatening clouds rolling in above only produced a sprinkle.
I praise you, Lord, for the joy of watching these dainty damsels without getting soaked!
He looks as though he has wrapped a little bit of that grass around his eyes - for colour co-ordination. What a fine capture of this fellow, and they are indeed so enjoyable to watch.
