This door welcomed us into The Big House where we dined beneath a grand, California redwood-beamed cathedral ceiling. Logs (nearly three feet wide!) stood neatly stacked and ready to be placed into a massive, two-story sandstone fireplace — a roaring fire, of course, burning bright inside. The food, beautifully plated and bursting with layers of unique flavors, revealed the chef's French training and kept us eagerly anticipating our next meal. Fine dining, indeed.
I praise you, Lord, for the lovely meals we enjoyed together in The Big House.
