All lit up and ready for guests! Building our home on a wooded hill means it peeks out from behind tall trees, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Beloved old oaks and hickories stand tall and proud above the planted magnolia and fringe trees flanking the front door; and we treasure the garden even in December with most plants peacefully sleeping. All lit up and ready for guests, yes; but more importantly, all lit up in honor of Jesus, the light of the world!
