I arrived early for yesterday's benefit luncheon to help tie up any loose ends before guests arrived; and immediately upon entering the room, I found myself drawn to the delightful cloth napkins at each place setting. Each one, folded sweetly into the shape of a rose with two leaves, made me smile; and I knew that I must learn this napkin folding technique — and fast! I was having a friend over for breakfast in the morning. Once I got home, I got to work creating two napkin roses for use on my table; and they made breakfast with my friend all the sweeter.
I praise you, Lord, for the sweetness of delightful touches and friends.
So creative! When we went on our small Alaskan cruise a couple of years ago, one of the crew made a different napkin configuration for each of our dinners. It was so impressive.
Lovely blues and whites in this photo. I have to confess, at first I thought the object was an unbaked sweet roll, ready to go into the oven. Silly me.
