Peering through narrowed eyes, I searched the Viburnum for flower buds and discovered this instead. Moving branches away to admire the pretty Hemlock cone that somehow came to rest in this unusual spot, I saw that one leaf (needle) still clinging to the Hemlock twig created a perfect hook from which the cone dangled like a Christmas ornament. I gazed at the unlikelihood of it all and considered the whole delightful experience a gift!
I praise you, Lord, for the delightful gift you gave me this morning.
