Light Hunting by janetb

Light Hunting

I find an indoor walk to do a little light hunting quite delightful. As I so often do this time of year, I discovered bright morning light in the foyer casting dramatic shadows of the floral arrangement on the wall behind. When a passing cloud put an end to the shadows and evened out the light in the foyer, I turned my attention to the flowers themselves; and that's when I noticed the lovely light from the back door seeming to want in on the action. It stretched far and long to reach me!

Occasionally in life there are those moments of unutterable fulfillment which cannot be completely explained by those symbols called words. Their meanings can only be articulated by the inaudible language of the heart.
- Martin Luther King Jr.

I praise you, Lord, for the many windows and doors welcoming light into our home — and the joy of light hunting.
Such beautiful flowers. This is a gorgeous composition with fabulous depth of field. It also has a lovely atmosphere, created by the morning light.

I love your concept of light hunting. It seems that you have a home specifically designed to bring the best out of every light situation.
