Who is hogging all the heat, then?

Little fatty bullmastiff, Rhoda-Bug, likes to get so close to the woodstove, I always worry she will get burned, but she likes to be toasty. Due to a medical problem, she is a tad plump and has sparse 'guard hairs' so we have to keep her warm in winter. As you can see, she is pretty relaxed.
She is a big girl, but I love the softness in her expression. She does seem to be enjoying the heat!

@swguevin Thanks Sheila - she is very sweet and gentle - and a solid girl at the best of times but she is a wee bit plump at the moment.

Jan - We have such a small dog, but I really love the larger breeds. She is a real beauty.

@taffy @swguevin Thankyou. Sheila like the larger breeds too (although we love animals in general) and have two bullmastiffs.

You captured the colors beautifully. She is a gorgeous dog, but your woodstove is a beauty too :) We love our stove, even though it's a much more utilitarian looking one. The cats sprawl in front of it and sometimes we think one will catch fire. They don't block the heat from us, though!

@genesis_one @chard @pflaume @paul2782 @Anwan - thanks all! @Anwan - thanks - it's pretty functional as well as pretty - it's a vermont castings. Heats the house in winter and if the power goes out we can cook on it. :-)
