Today we took a trip to the Nisqually Wildlife refuge to get some bird shots. I spotted a pair of eagles in a tree but there were so many people walking the boardwalk my tripod was bouncing and they were too far away for the non-tripod shots to be clear.
Here is one I snapped of the barns and the trees reflected in the water. I have others of these barns elsewhere in my project. I did a little saturation to enhance the colors.
Thank for the favs that landed this one on the PP.
I was in the area today, and realize this is on my bucket list! It was such unusual lighting today, wasn't it? All the way down I-5 I was wishing I had my camera, and a place to stop! Fave, this is beautiful
@nanalisarocks - thanks for the fav, Lisa! YES - the lighting today was really strange - but cool! In Olympia it was clear but just north at the refuge it was overcast, a little foggy - and had a strange yellow tint.
Lots of eagles at the moment - sockeye are running in the rivers. :-) There was one in my neighbors tree this morning when we were returning from walking the dogs but no time to run in for my camera.
