I've been wanting to photograph my neighbourhood grocer for a while, because he is very nice and always greets me in the morning. This morning I was finally able to capture him in deep conversation with another neighbour.
I changed the picture for today after a discussion with @janmaki and @sabrinaromahn, who gave me some very good tipps. I normally don't like to change pictures but this version is much better :). Thank you @janmaki and @sabrinaromahn for your help! And thank you @pepitaliang and @josamz for your comments, which are unfortunately lost now :(. If you want, you can look at the alternate version under http://365project.org/jannaellen/365/2010-12-02 and tell me which one you like better.
Looks really good, now the persons are the main focus. This is an interesting shot, I'd like to hear what they are talking about :) And the lady seems to be a character... love it!
Okay, now I've looked, and while I enjoy the vibrant color in the first version, the sepia works much better with this shot . . . it has a very nostalgic feel that the sepia seems suited for!
Thanks for the follow ... as you can tell I'm not able to follow back many as I am so extremely busy but I endeavour to catch up with some of my followers every now and then. CC to your hearts content and remember I'm quite from April 8 as I'll be away.
