When I saw this week's theme I immediately thought of this shot I had wanted to do for ages. As I've mentioned earlier my husband doesn't like to be photographed, so it took a bit of convincing but he's satisfied with the result which makes me happy. I dedicate this shot to him because he and I are our own family now and we can't wait to watch it grow larger some day.
PS: Once again I was quite overwhelmed by the positive reaction to my shots over the last days. Just when I think I've hit a low in creativity you guys pick me up again - it's wonderful to be here!
@janmaki : Also a great idea! Usually my head is just much smaller compared to my husband's and I enlarged it to fit his size and then it looked HUGE to me. I'm normally not self-conscious about my head ;).
this wonderful Janna... perfect composed and so cool that we actually see you both smiling half way...
I thought about the same, to shoot something with my beloved since he is the only family I really have here... but the problem is... where and when do I meet him... this man is always so busy that nowadays I get only less than 2 hours to spend with him a day :( it´s hard to believe I am actually able to keep up with this... but oh well... enough of rambling...
Such a fabulous shot!! Love your composition and how you've brought your own style to your family portrait.
This looks like an album cover :)
You've got my vote!
