The lambs have arrived and at last there was a bright morning to take some photos. I went up to one of my favourite sheep stalking haunts - Burton Dassett Hills looking for a bit of frolicking lamb action. Not a frolic in sight. All around me were mothers and babies resting in the sun.
I thought that the mothers would be much more on their guard now that they have their babies to look out for, but I was amazed to be able to wander quietly among them, getting very close.
