Ten days ago the donkeys and goats escaped from their field. They were let out by somebody who was doing some work for us. That's never happened before.
Looked out of our kitchen window today to see a donkey in the middle of the lawn.
Never seen that before......
Our youngest son had accidentaly left the gate to our field open. Closer inspection of the garden revealed that all of the donkeys and the goats were in the garden. So what did I do?
Ran back to the house to get my "coat" (camera) - My god this project changes you!
Anyway, with a bit of skittishness and bucking on their part they went back to their field. I haven't done a proper inspection yet, but so far the only garden casualties have been the daffodils which are growing on the bank just outside their field.
oh i love the photo and the story - and I so get you going back to get your camera, I think that all time ! I also love that the donkeys had left their field to come to your garden !
It was definately that sneaky goat that lead the pack look at it hiding and blending in with the garden! those gorgeous innocent donkeys wouldn't have done it by themselves ;) great picture :)
hee hee... yah... funny how one tends to reach for the camera to record the transgression before dealing with the transgression... great story and shot... and yes, i do see that black goat trying to fade into the scenery... sneaky bum!
haha.. they look so "catched upon mischief" lovely.. and this project really changes us.. =).. I love them all.. and the little black goat as well.. hope they did not cause much casualities..
Lol!! They certainly are characters....and yes of course the camera comes along with the coat... 365 has a lot to answer for... lol! Oh yes and did spot the cheeky little black goat!! Glad there was not to much damage. ♥
