Had a drive around some of the villages surrounding Stratford upon Avon this afternoon to look for a photo and kill some time before picking my son up from an after-school revision class. I drove past this alien-looking landscape, stopped, and reversed back because I had no idea what these white sticks were that were growing out of the ground. I then noticed the sheep lying among them.
Closer inspection revealed that they are old brussel sprout sticks that the sheep were being allowed to strip-graze. Wonder if sprouts have the same effect on sheep as they do on humans......
doing a lot of dithering at the moment, couldn't decide whether I prefer this or the photo in my 'other stuff' album.
Lol Jan! I just love this image. The composition is perfect and love the leading lines. Great choice for B&W and would also look good in colour perhaps with a texture to make it look like a painting as, to me, it looks like a painting :-) It's lovely.
this is so cool! it looks like multiple images merged together...the b&w really adds to the "other"ness of the image. then I checked the color version and now I can't decide which I like better!
