today Graham and I were very lucky to be taken to the Olympics by Deloittes who were one of the main sponsors. It was such a wonderful day which started with food and champagne on a rooftop overlooking the Olympic Park and was followed by seats in the 7th row of the Olympic Stadium. There were no British medals but we saw lots of wonderful events and the photo opportunties were limitless, but the highlight for me had to be the American 4x100 women's relay team breaking the world record that has been in place for 27 years.
The whole thing was an amazing experience that I will remember for the rest of my life and I feel very privileged to have been part of it.
hi Jan. your pushed partner here. thanks for the bw architecture challenge. looking forward to getting a shot of a metalic library at essex university. i have look through the last couple of months of your shots. i love the donkeys. so full of character. i dont see so many portraits and considering your holiday I am using that for your challenge. simply "a portrait" plenty of scope but still one of my favourite and challenging subjects. good luck and have a great holiday.
@richwood Hi Richard - as expected, I wont be able to upload this week as utterly rubbish internet connection, but have taken a couple of portraits and will upload later. Will still be able to look out for your posting tho. Jan
