think I might have come up with the Hall family Christmas card today.
Trouble is it is so heavily cropped not sure if I will be able to print it large enough, will have to try to work it out.

Yet another thing learned from being on the 365 project. Searched forums about print size and found a link to this website for calculating optimal maximum print size of an image etc:
Wonderful. I'm glad that you can still print it having cropped it. Oh how I long for a longer lens! He is so crisp and clear. And chubby! Fluffed up against the cold I like to think!
Just perfect the iconic Christmas card!! Have just received my zoom lens today so excited hope I can get a shot as good as this!! This time last year never knew that in a years time I would want a zoom! has to be a fav!!
A perfect Christmas card picture, he is a beauty Jan & what could you have better!! I am dying to photo a bird with my new lens but our birds seem to disappeared this year for some reason. We had loads in the Spring & the table is full of all sorts but not many birds...yet !.
Oh Jan this is beautiful!! and i found it on the P.P.!! Congrats and fav! i have faved so many birds i could do a book on the birds from around the world! i love them all!
noticed this on pp - lovely card image. And thanks for the link to print sizes, I'd just been trying to work out an optimal print size for an image so this was great timing !
