Another view of the poppy fields near Broughton Castle, you can just see a glimpse of the castle on the right. It has been used in many historical films and TV dramas.
Quite a lazy day, Graham and Angus took part in a go-karting tournament at a nearby track in the morning, sadly Sam is still not old enough to join in, he will still have to wait a couple of years. We then all met up for lunch in the pub with all of the other karters and their families. It was nice to see some people who I haven't seen for while.
I got home just in time to see the tennis, which was amazing. What a sporting weekend it has been for the UK! We just need to win 'the Ashes' now.......
