I am afraid I am going to have to amend one of my ratios from yesterday.
Instead of 131:3 (legs) it now reads 130:4
For some bizarre reason Angus woke up this morning in agony, and hardly able to walk. He seems to have done something to his calf muscle in the night, so I dosed him up with Ibuprofen, put a support bandage on him and drove him to school to save him the walk.
There then followed a day of the usual chores. Joey Boy's hoof abscess seems to have started to draw, following yesterday's poultice, so it looks like for the first time ever I might not have to have either the farrier or the vet out to him.
Because it is so painful for me to wear wellies these days I ordered a pair of waterproof trainers that I am hoping to be able to wear instead. They arrived today, and first impressions about how comfortable they are going to be are pretty good. And they are definitely waterproof because I gave them a thorough testing on my way through the rain to my art class this evening.
There is definitely a leg and foot theme running through my life at the moment because this evening in art we were drawing shoes!
This is a beauty so delicate & ethereal...perhaps an indication how you feel at the moment!! Glad the trainers are good...won't get trench foot too then!!
