I have downloaded a free fifteen day trial version of Nik Silver Efex, so went out this morning with a view to getting some pics to convert to b&w so I could have a play with it. The presets are great but I must admit I think it would take me a while to get used to it, particularly getting some kind of workflow between PSE, LR4 and Silver Efex sorted out. It all feels a bit cumbersome at the moment.
It turned out to be a lovely sunny day, with very little wind. Graham did a lot of work with the pigs, and on one of his trips back to the house told me that I ought to go up there with my camera as the pigs were in heaven lying around soaking up the rays. When I went up there were plenty of photo opportunities, and I am still sorting through the results.
Took the boys for a hair cut in the afternoon, Angus hasn't had his done for six months so it was lovely to see him looking all gorgeous again.
Out to dinner at our next door neighbours in the evening. All good fun.
Lovely peaceful scene -- but my sense of humour has got the best of me -Sorry Jan - but the old nag looks as if she is having a fag in the background !!
