I had a quick trip to the National Trust property Farnborough Hall which is one of my favourite photography haunts on Saturday afternoon. When I got there I discovered that most of the trees that surround the lake have been removed as part of a big programme which intends to restore the lake and its views to how it was originally designed. I am sure that in a few years' time it will be great but it all looks a bit brutal at the moment. This is a view of the bit that the tree clearers haven't got to yet.
Good capture. Lovely place! Having landscaped my farms often I know it hurts when we redo and pull out plants or trees. But, you can replant the majority maybe.
Well I like the trees in all their glory as you probably do but I suppose it all has to be managed properly or it will grow into wilderness. This looks very pretty & the life buoy is in a perfect spot for a bright point of interest.
