Here are Jack and Lilly who are seven years old and in rude health.
Angus and Joey Boy, my two 30 plus donks have dropped a bit of weight and I am trying to build them up a bit before the onlsaught of another winter. So, they get an extra feed each day and have to be shut in their stable so they are not bullied off their food, partly by these two, but mainly by the goats.
Jack and Lilly are FURIOUS at the injustice of this situation and spend the whole time looking over the stable door, nostrils flared and ears pinned back. Bless 'em!
Aaaw ! wonderful the donks are back !! But here they are certainly not very happy at the injustice of it all !! I hope Angus and Joe Boy appreciate the extra love and nourishment you are providing them !!
Haha, I remember how much you used to like them Helene! It's good to be back and see some old faces - look forward to seeing your recent work :) @parisouailleurs
I can just imagine the scene......you will have quite a job separating Angus & Joey Boy or are they in permanently now? I bet they blow down their nostrils at you! They are sweet though!
No, at the moment I just bring them in to eat. When the weather gets bad I have to get each pair into their own stable and get the goats OUT of the stables. Now that's a juggling act! And yes the above scene was accompanied by lots of snorting and nostril flaring. @happypat
Tell them that at least they get to have their picture on the 365! I just love the pov, light and expressions here, fav for me. Also, I admire you for giving these animals a home and such loving care.
Such a wonderful capture....love, love their expressions!! That injustice is just overwhelming! I really like donkeys, so I am hoping to see more of these guys and their buddies....oh, and the goats, too!! FAV!
