We visited Rhosilli Bay on the South Wales western coast in order to see the 18th century wreck of the "Helvetia" which lies half buried in the sand. We chose the evening, hoping for an interesting sunset. The tide was in so we spent a couple of hours beachcombing whilst we waited. At dusk the tide was far enough out to expose the wreck - but conditions meant it was so deeply buried there was virtually nothing to see! However, I did manage to get this photo of the "Worm's Head" on the horizon.
Lovely, dreamy shot and even better on large view. All those blues are beautiful and the gold from the sun provides a very nice counterpoint to them. Fav'd
Would have love to have done the beachcombing as well.
