Idaho by jaybutterfield

Idaho

My annual business trip up to Helena MT takes my flight over southern Idaho -- despite Spring on our doorstep in So Cal, it's still winter up north.
It's a lovely, seemingly abstract image. But thank you for your description. I'm not sure I would have worked out what it was on my own. Very nice.

This is a fascinating display of winter from overhead. Looks like a bunch of tree roots covered with snow. You're missing some awesome weather here in soCal right now.

I love the patterns in this. Just enough contrast to show up. Well spotted!

I'm your Get-Pushed partner this week. I like that you have a get-pushed tag. You've done so much. I also looked at your albums. It's tough to find a challenge for you. You call yourself an amateur, but if that's the case you've had some very lucky shots. I suspect otherwise. You may have done this before, but I don't remember seeing a photo of it, so how about shooting the night sky. I realize the moon is waning, but hopefully the skies will be clear enough to get some stars or a planet. If this doesn't sound possible, let me know so I can think of another challenge for you.

@randystreat I did do a recent shot of the moon http://365project.org/jaybutterfield/365/2017-03-02 but I have an idea that might fit the bill if the sky is clear enough this week. I'll give it a try and get you your challenge shortly.
