Blue teacup

This tea cup and saucer are a few that I have from my grandmother, who I had never met. My aunt had kept these and never used them. A few years ago when moving her to an assisted living facility she asked if I wanted them. I, of course, said yes and I am very fond of them.

A beautiful and delicate cup and saucer - such a delightful iridescent blue . Many years ago I had a similar tea-set from my grandmother but unfortunately after many years I have only got the cream jug now which I use as a vase for small garden flowers !

I have some from my grandmother and I gave my friends some of my mothers. The tea cups were grand and beckons back to a very different time.
