Marriage

My alphabet series letter “M” stands for marriage. I chose to use the marriage of my paternal grandparents, Antonio D’Avino and Concetta (Jennie) Allocca. This young couple (she 18, he 23) was married on October 24, 1926. The photo is very special to me as it is the only one I have of my grandmother. She sadly passed the year I was born.

Great minds think alike, my first thought for M was my maternal grandparents wedding photo but I changed it. It's a beautiful old photo, certainly one to treasure
