i read an interesting psychology article on human gestures and their genetic history and uniformity, and in that, or another article, it was also mentioned that there was often a difference in emotional expression between the first three finishers of a race, noting that the third place is often distinct.
im not sure if that held true here, but your juxtaposition of these individuals respective iconic moments is both interesting and touching...a lot of emotion, as one often sees from you on here.
