One of the most iconic pieces of Catalan modernist architecture. The medieval hospital, began to work in 1401, by the fusion ( maybe reduction ) of the six hospitals of the city on this, after the plague epidemy of 1348 that decimated the population.
I've been interested in photography since time ago. I like street photography, airplane photography, candid and many other.

All your night-time architecture shots are wonderful, but this one is just spectacular. I feel like I'm right there and could cross the street and enter the gates. Fav!
Wow, that's a hospital? Gorgeous building. All those beautiful details in the windows on the roof. Looks spectacular in this light, against the deep black sky.
Such a beautiful place and we normally do not associate with hospital. That makes me think why hospitals have to look like a morgue. Beautiful wide angle night shot, a big FAV!
@ksmale Thank you very much for you kind comment. But I think I still must work on "some little details" ;) @yolanda Muchas gracias Yolanda :) @shailestha@kt8ird@ukandie1 Thank you very much. @irisn Thank you very much. Really this is a building complex, some of them are used for research, teaching and many other activities related with health and science. You can visit the complex, previous payment of a fee, guided or at your own. The hospital itself, is located in other building / area. @annied Thank you very much @yaorenliu Thank you very much, this is the "beautiful" part of the complex. I agree with you about that. The hospital it is a little more "sober". @sangwann Thank you very much @altadc Thank you very much
