Caga Tió

Two days ago, I wanted to incorporate into the project the figure of "Caganer". Today I introduce you another popular tradition in Catalonia: the "Caga Tió". A wooden trunk with a funny face, a catalonian tipical "barretina", and a cloth covering him. Children meet around him, giving taps with a rod or stick, singing a song, finished the ritual, this "magic trunk" gives them little presents like sweets, chocolate, nougat and other goodies.
