365 days ago, I decided to embark on a project that sparked my interest, perhaps It seemed uncertain. My first picture was a tablecloth of a restaurant, where I was lunch. The shine from the cups, reflected in the table, caught my attention.
Today I wanted to put this last photo, one of many beautiful places that this city have, as the end of this journey. The sea, Gaudí, modernism, the old, the new. A short summary of a thousand faces that this city have which both I liked to photograph.
My last picture will not be neither the best nor the worst, Only one more than many others I've enjoyed taking and sharing with you throughout the year.
Whether or not I Learned something about photography. The real value of this project has been found in the way so many friends which share the project, enjoy and know their photography works, customs, views and learn from them. That could be required, perhaps an entire lifetime to be done, in a traditional way.
I wish to thank you all for your comments, warm support and advice, also to friends and family who have supported me and given me encouragement throughout this project. A warm hug, Joan.
P.S.:
As I write this words, I have decided that this path does not reach its end here, maybe it's the beginning of something new. I want to stay here, enjoying this group and your charming work, for a while, without the pressure or the hectic pace of having to post a picture, every day. I wish to discover and explore many other possibilities that I've not done in the first journey.

Congratulations! I really enjoyed your daily shots and your sensitive approach to your environment. It is a great joy to travel with your eyes through Barcelona to those places I missed as a tourist and to expose to the histories and culture of Spain. Huge thanks.
I'm so happy to have discovered you on the Trending page, as my own photo ended up there today, too! I only wish I had been following your project before the two times i was in Barcelona this year! I would have asked if we could have gone on a photowalk together . . . much more interesting than striking out on my own in the city. I'm glad you are continuing since I'm now a new follower :)

Have you seen the discussion on a group that may be forming around Photo Shop. We are going to do Photos every week or so around learning a PS technique or skill.
Many congratulations on reaching 365 with a gorgeous album of photos from one of my favourite cities. It's always so lovely to see a fondly remembered view, architectural gem or quaint shop on my 365 feed. I'm so pleases you are carrying on even if not daily, I think you have discovered the secret of the 365 project, it's much more than the picture taking.
And this is a wonderful pic with the view over the city to the sea.
