The sanctuary of the "Virgen de la Hoz" is a Catholic church located in the village of Ventosa (Corduente, Guadalajara, Spain). It is situated on the "Barranco de la Hoz", close to the banks of the Gallo River in the Alto Tajo Natural Park. According to popular legend, a shepherd found in this environment an image of the Virgin. At that spot the chapel was built later.
