When I first started reading comic books as a boy I discovered Marvel comics' Daredevil. He is blind but has the super power of being able to see with a "radar sense." Most people liked Spiderman, Batman and the X-Men. For me, Daredevil, the Man Without Fear, was my favorite.
While in the basement of my father-in-law's house I spotted this little toy plane and it was such a curiosity that I had to make it my image for today. I like the style of plane, and I never knew that Marvel had done Daredevil merchandising like this.
Today DD is still my favorite, and although not as popular and well known as Superman and Batman, he has gotten some attention. He was the subject of a Ben Affleck movie in 2003, and a Netflix original series this year. I am waiting for a remake of the movie, since it was not that great (though the directors cut is watchable).
