The little frog stayed on the balcony chair all day but had gone by this morning. Yesterday's photo was taken with my phone, but back on to the Nikon D800 for this shot which wasn't a particularly clear one. I put it into Photoshop, got rid of a distracting wire in the background then used the mezzotint filter on everything except the eye of the frog and was quite pleased with the result. I does look lovely on black.
@hermann@katrinanz Thanks. I was surprised how well the mezzotint filter worked on this image. I also didn't realise that I could select an area so it wouldn't be affected by the filter until now.
