The lovely architecture of the Yandina Hotel. The buiding continues around the corner - so I assume it is a later addition. I had to go to Yandina for some dental work and although I'd driven through Yandina many times, it was the first time I had stopped for a look at the town. I just looked up the history of the hotel - it was originally the Australian Hotel built as a staging post for the Gympie gold mining area in1888, then moved in 1891 to it's current site next to the railway. The extenxion is new - or at least was in 1930 - it was later renamed Yandina Hotel.
