Pasque flowers on Therfield Heath

These pretty flowers only grow on chalk downlands and only in a few places in the U.K.
They flower around Easter time. Royston Heath is the local name for the Heath. They havnt been so good the last couple of years but this year the whole hill was covered with them.
@pdulis thank you for your comment on bluebells. This is the flower similar to your prairie one. Must be the same family.

Lovely shot. Great feel to this. The fore-focus helps, because otherwise the grass would have overwhelmed the shot with chaos. Nicely done.
