Spring on the way? by jenp

Spring on the way?

Day 75 /365

I decided to experiment yesterday (I didn't get to download it lastnight) and I wanted a Lensbaby Effect (I want a lensbaby!!!) and while it didn't exactly give me the effect I was looking for, I wasn't unhappy with it either. I ended up putting a plastic sandwhich bag over my lens with a hole in the center and shot in Macro. Next time I'll try with saran wrap or maybe some vaseline over one of my filters (Too afraid to do that to a lens). I had a hard time deciding between color of B&W. It was super windy, so it's not as sharp focus as it could be,
So COOL! The in/on camera manipulation, using a plastic bag, is genius. I applaud your creativity! FAV!!!

Beautiful shot and I love your processing. It looks like a Pieris bush which is one of my favorite plants.

@mittens - yes! It is a Pieris. I love the vibrant color its leaves turn with the different seasons. And I love those little bell flowers. They smell good, too!
