pillars and towers

In this picture you see a small section of the New Cathedral in Linz. It was built in the 19th century in neo-gothic style. It is the largest, but not the highest cathedral in Austria. It is about two meters lower than St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. Supposedly in those days no building could be higher than St. Stephen's.
Linz is the capital of Upper Austria, situated on the Danube.
