We do not know what tomorrow. But at some point you have a sense of the time that remains.
Have I done all things well?
Have I given enough love...? To other people... and myself...?
Have I brought you good and dear?
I wish I could say this... Forgive me if I didn't...
Wow, Jerome, WOW! This beautiful photo draws me in and then the introspection...much that I now reflect on as I passed yet another milestone year...is written as a perfect sermon! It's all so perfect, I can think of nothing more to add!
You've brought some joy ro my day with this super uber FAVE for me. Everything about it, I love. Just fantastic. And your sentiment makes all the more endearing. WOW!
Wow Jerome, this is another fantastic picture in this poppy-series. And your accompanying words are very profound. You must have a beautiful soul, indeed. I like the way you have mixed different styles and formats. And I wonder and looking forward, with what you will surprise us tomorrow. I have an idea ... but I would not be astonished if you would surprise us with a food shot made of a Mohnstrudel / poppy seed strudel. * Smile *
Just retired yesterday from over 30 years of teaching... and your words call to me. The photo grabbed me first as my mind moved through each orb. Lovely edit on this as well. fav and follow
@stefneyhart Retired you since yesterday? Congratulations - so you have endless time for photographing. Enviable! Anyway, I'm also a teacher. What subject did you teach?
After 30 years you may have to retire? I have to work off at least 40 - quite a while yet.
@mona65 Thank you for your nice comment, Mona! Mohnstrudel - a very original idea! :)
But I think I finish better now that poppy theme, at least provisionally.
Hi Jerome I love the one of the poppy heads. It's a beautiful photo. The heads of the poppies look so soft and really draw you in yo the picture.
Cheers Georgie.
This is a superb image! Beautiful colours and DOF. Where were they growing? The narrative I feel is that these are opium poppies, but they probably aren't! Well done!

Thank you, Junko and Madeleine, for your nice comments!
@marshwader Madeleine: Where the poppies were growing? The poppies bloomed very near my house, away by bike ten minutes on the outskirts.
In Austria, the cultivation of opium poppy is legal and can look back on a centuries-old tradition. It can be found in many Austrian recipes of cakes and pastries, but also in countless shelves of grocery stores.
