The Dachstein - my beloved mountain! I have avoided describing my emotions in the description when I see the mountain, when I climb up the slope, when I admire the fantastic mountain panorama at the summit ... Now I do it.
The Dachstein - my beloved mountain. It is not the highest mountain in the world. But I connect very many impressive moments with it. Perhaps most beautiful is the access to the lake Gosausee - when the glacier is reflected in the water..., glimmering of the young light..., guided by the majestic Gosaukamm...
then the soul feels lighter...
What a delightful and beautiful view. Your affection for the mountain is so clear without the words. You have worked wonders with the colouring here. Stunning.
What a stunning shot - the tones are amazing - wonderful processing. Like the way you composed this drawing it right to the edges to encompass us inside it. Fav
it's like a big gold nugget. that's probably an oxymoron, because a nugget is never big that's why it's a nugget. but that's what came to mind. fantastic colours. i like it!

The Dachstein - my beloved mountain. It is a venture to show what you love. It touches me very much, that this picture receives such a friendly attention.
Saw this after scrolling through your recent images, having seen the lovely tonal hills on Top Twenty. The lighting is beautiful. Your use of perspective to lead the viewer in is wonderful. And I always love reflections. Fave.
My nephew has married an Austrian lass and they are now based in Vienna. Your album and commentary has given me another insight into her great passion for her country and zest for life.
This is a wonderful vista, and like you, I feel a similar strong connection to the earth, but for me it is while walking along the ocean shore as I wonder about the vastness of the oceans linking the world.
