Thank you for your so nice comments!
"Art" - that ist a strong word for me. I see the great masterpieces in art. And one might be discouraged in one's own attempt. I try and hope. It is wonderful when a picture triggers a resonance with a viewer. Because of a colour, a line, a shape, because something fits well in a picture, because a beautiful story is told,... Wonderful that there is such a thing in this world. I am always amazed... the older I get, more and more about this wondrous world...

@ksmale Thank you for your kind suggestion to gather my pictures in a book. A very stimulating thought is that. I would like more time for such interesting projects...

Thank you very much, Louis, for your nice comment!
The simple design, reduced to clear form values, has - in my opinion - a strong persuasive power. The narrative in a picture has also a quality, yes. But really gripping I account a clear form language. It creats unity in diversity. I would like to share with you pictures and discuss them - not just photographs, but also images of painters and graphic artists. Here and there, work is done with the same means - with line, shape, light-dark and colour. You can learn a lot for your own work - about purposefully used contrasts, proportions, stylistic elements etc. It is about grammar of visual language

@jerome Jerome that would be great. I am in a bit of a rut and it would help to get me out of it. My email is lasousa@me.com....
