an unusual point of focus Jerome.. i'm loving the textures in both nose and fur.. it's a very strong and compelling image, controlled as it is by the strong eye contact.. the broadcast/received look is one of knowing one's own superiority - cats, whatever their size, are never mastered.. one can master a dog but one would be forever a slave to a cat.. because of the shape of the muzzle the point of focus 'appears' to be contained within the markings, which run from lip to eye - it is extremely effective.. Jerome, you are so masterful with your camera - squeezing out every last drop of creativity..
Feel like you could reach into the photo and touch that wet nose........and probably lose your hand! Gorgeous majestic animal, beautiful photo. So close.
