Gorge El Questro, Australia.
When you drive across the wide dry and hot savannah, the shady gorges that are crossed by brooks are like oases in the desert. Lush tropical vegetation spreads in them.
@cruiser Thank you, Chris, for your kind comment!
Your country - overwhelming. I would love to stay longer in some places. Very much I could not visit on my way along the Gibb River Road. And, of course, this is just a tiny section of Australia. What a fascinating and strong country!
A book - this is an idea I've been carrying with me for a long time. It is a matter of time... I would very much like to devote myself exclusively to photography and writing, but the work does not give me the necessary freedom. Photographing as writing with colours and shapes, writing as painting and drawing with words... That keeps playing on my mind - how I see, feel, perceive this world... and interpret with pictures and words. A beautiful but challenging task. Currently a figment...
@gardenfolk Thank you for your nice words to the idea of a book, CC! Maybe it will be a reality... sometime...
Best regards to California - I've never been there, it must be a wonderful country.
