I met a ski tourer on the way. She asked me for a picture of herself and she did the same for me.

So here you are, in one of your favourite settings, and looking at peace with the world. A lovely portrait and it is very good to meet you. Those iced up tree trunks really are astonishing.
@caterina This forest was attacked by bark beetles several years ago. There remained the skeletons of the trees, which slowly decay and are broken by storms.
A great portrait of you in this snowy environment. Its a surreal world that you stand in there...the sculptural nature of the dead trees coated densely with snow is extraordinary. Nice to see you! Your work has spoken for you for so long, nice to finally see you too.
We meet at last! I believe I speak for all this community when I say we're grateful that this unknown young lady gave us a picture of "You" that you could finally share with us! I'll forever think of you as somewhat magical with the way you conjure the beauty out of everything you see, and moreover, use words so exquisitely, even when you tell us English is not a first language! I'm so glad that, after you left, you decided to return!
@Weezilou Thank you for your very kind words... You make me embarrassed...
I do not forget the time when I posted my first pictures and felt so friendly accepted. A feeling that deepens further. A truly unique community this is! I learned a lot here - not just about photography, but also about encountering one another person to person. So appreciative, kind, encouraging, warm, cordial. A precious treasure.
Thank you for your so nice attention and your nice words! :)
I'm fine in the mountains. When I feel that the mountain welcomes me, when the light embraces me, when I put my footsteps on the rock, when above me only the sky and the clouds, when I enjoy the unobstructed view of the vastness,... then the worries become smaller - like the houses down in the valley, which gradually disappear from view at the ascent.
