@blueberry1222 You are right - for the Omani women, this beach is almost certainly just half a pleasure. Certainly there are many questionablenesses in the social fabric.
I think there is still a lot to do in this world... We are far from fair circumstances.
@golftragic You're right, Marnie - the veiled women... They can not romp on the beach like men, not bathing in the sea.

@jerome Absolutely no reproach whatsoever regarding your beautiful photo, my friend. Just stating a very sad truth about that part of the world. Your image is stunningly beautiful visually and aesthetically, but also makes a strong social statement about gender equity. I like the image very much - in both senses. In other words, one can have one's cake and eat it too.
