Attempting a creative exorcism via hand-me-down iPhone 3G. Learning to leave the moment to itself, without getting in my own way. I use the PictureShow app almost exclusively for processing my images.

As a 'properly' trained photographer and artist, I came here at first to have some accountability to start creating again, without the rules and strict purpose making 'art' had become for me. A friend began posting here, and I felt it would be a good way to keep on task to shoot daily, making quick photographic sketches of what inspired me or was beautiful everyday.

Now that I'm here, I can't get enough of wanting to see other cultures, other visions, other lives, and others' interpretations of everything in their lives! I'm all about finding lovely captures/favorites that speak to me, that help make my days brighter or make my creative self joyful with appreciation of the beauty in the world and the many people who are willing to seek it. Please look at the images others have made that have become my Favs - they are as important to my project and daily inspiration as my own images!

Living in Indiana, US, with my very good husband, our small, lovely, red-haired daughters, and an old, sweet dog named Magdalene. Infrequently posting since the birth of our second daughter in late May 2011 - though I do try to come back and poke around often.
