13 Welcome to the (wet) world

At last, Mrs B's only offspring is born.
12 eggs laid and after 22 days, more than twice the usual period, 7 caterpillars emerged. They ate hungrily for 24 days, a little shorter than usual, but only one pupated. Again, a longer than expected pupation, 19 instead of 14 days, but worth the wait.
Needless to say, I missed it! But I have 19 (hopefully) more chances.
