Happy Birthday, Mum.
Nikki had been to cut & style her hair. Bridgette had done facial, manicure & pedicure.
"Take my picture, please," said Mother, the first and only time she had volunteered for torture by camera.
The photo won best colour portrait at our local village fair, but she wasn't alive to know that...

@madeinnl @ziggy77 @rosiekind @gaylewood Many thanks to you all. Mother hated being photographed so I was astonished when she asked me to take her picture. She wanted to show off her new hair-do I suppose. It's also the first "people" photo I've been happy with - the ONLY one in fact.
