@bkbinthecity it’s the remaining 67 acres of an ancient pasture, one of several which surrounded the city. Sadly it’s been “improved” which means the wildflowers I knew when I moved to York in 1975 have mostly gone. But it’s still a pleasant if frequently soggy place for walkies and butterflies

We are on the tip of the Baja so unfortunately not in the monarch migration area. someday I would love to see it. We have had an amazing amount of butterflies down here on the Baja this week unfortunately I’ve only been able to capture the one.
