Time to hang up the camera and go.......? (Spot the hidden numbers in the pic if you feel inclined)
Wow, I made it, not without a few wobbles and and fillers and 'ugh I'm rubbish at this' hissy fits along the way :-) But in just one year - what a learning curve!!! My pictures are so much better, I have learnt the meanings of POV, DOF, HDR, SOOC, FAV, PP, and TT to name but a few!! I have been inspired and encouraged and have been touched and thankful to everyone who has viewed and commented on my pics, special thanks to @happypat, @jgpittenger & @kwind who have been with me pretty much from the start and who have never failed to comment encouragingly on every pic (even the naff ones, and there have been a few!) and let me have a glimpse into their lives too over the year.
So is it time to be the leader of the family instead of dawdling behind everyone to get that shot at one last angle on every outing? Can I go back to going out without the camera without feeling I've lost a limb?
Nope!
This is a way of life now and long may this project continue. I will continue to cheat and post fillers on busy days and may miss the odd day now and then, and often be unable to keep up with commenting (nothing new there!) but the encouragement and inspiration on this site is amazing. Thank you to everyone who has viewed and commented on my pics and for the favs that got me to PP and TT which has been amazing! You're amazing! Ok, enough rambling. On to year 2..........
Congratulations! That feeling of exultation and achievement at the end of the year is incredible.... I thought I'd take a break but was very soon back! Just love how you've composed this and the story it tells! Fav!
Oh I don't know what it is with these end of year 1 shots, but i always get a little teary ~ I am over the moon with your achievement, fabulous!! ~ and so glad to hear year 2 in on the menu :-)
Brilliant shot to end year 1 ~ FAV !! ... going to enlarge now and have a look for those numbers :-)
Oh dear my heart had a little flutter there for a sec when I read about you being at the front with family...oh dear she's giving up but no all is well!!
So glad you are staying on & the beauty with year 2 is you can do it your way!!!
A fantastic descriptive photo to end your year ...only you could have thought of that. I think it took a bit of planning that , must have taken a few takes would think!!!!!
As to the following bit that was no hardship believe me ...( have found all you photos excellent & interesting to me personally ( not too many flowers) specially as I have a little link with your area.
Onwards & upwards Jennifer & here's to year 2!! xx
Fabulous year end shot! Huge congratulations to you! Thanks for the mention. I've loved following you and been inspired so many times. I'm thrilled you're staying on!!
I found the 3 but not the 6 or 5! Like Pat, I read the first paragraph and felt a wave of sadness as well as understanding. It's hard to give up a good friend. And then I read on! Hooray! She's staying. For sure do it your way.ive loved the variety in your shots and your steady impressive growth. And ths is a perfect end of the year shot
Fabulous! Love the hidden 365! You must continue for another 365 as I'm sure there are a lot of people, including myself, who can't wait to see what you will do next. Really well done.
Way to go Jennifer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats on completing your first year, talk about an achievement!
Glad you'll be sticking around.
Nice shot to finish the year.
Nice to read what both Jane and Pat had to say! I do think what you have said about 365 is just right! To some it is an effort, to others it is a new day and a new challenge! Your photo is a good story!
Congratulations! Great final first year shot! So glad you are continuing, i really enjoy your photography and I look forward to seeing more of it in your second year! Found the numbers - very cleverly done :-)
Congratulations Jennifer!! It's such an accomplishment to make it through the first year and with so many great shots too! I'm so glad to have discovered you here and look forward to seeing lots more. Now- don't forget- your project, your rules- so no one is going to mark your grade down for those fillers and such. In year two, you're allowed to have even more fun, take even more photos and comment whenever you want! (Well, I made that up but the "your project, your rules" rule, is the second mantra to "a photo a day" here). I loved your creative finish and had fun finding the numbers! Best wishes for year #2.
Jennifer, a little late but congratulations on completing your 365 project! (And I found the 3,6,5). I am so glad you are staying on. You are such an inspiration.
