A GLORIOUS Day!

PE today was cross-country skiing in the balmy +31 degrees! (Note the jackets the kids peeled off and hung on the trees!) A FUN FUN afternoon!

How fun is that! I grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, and cross country skiing was one of my PE classes in college. Good memories!

It just hit me that it was warmer in your corner of Alaska today than it was in my corner of Virginia! Today it was 12 degrees; tomorrow it's going to be -3 degrees. We don't have school tomorrow because it's too cold -- many of our kids don't have gloves and hats. Enjoy your "warm" weather!

I had to do cross-country skiing for PE every winter!! Although, we didn't have THAT scenery around!
